Shallow Breathing at Night
Shallow Breathing at Night
N. and M. N., Maryborough, Qld. (Published in ‘Bowen Hands’ magazine)
My wife, Merrie, had been a longstanding shallow breather. As age increased past the fifties, so did the shallow breathing coming to the stage where it was frightening during the night, as breathing would almost go down to zero. Subconsciously I would wake up several times during the night and shake my wife, who was fearful that she would pass away in her sleep and so was I.
Having learnt the Bowen Therapy, I thought of trying the asthma move on Merrie. She is not an asthmatic, but it dawned on us it might help her breathing.
To our amazement, after the first treatment she responded and is now breathing deeply at night, which has improved her peace of mind, her health, now wakes up every morning ready to go, whereas before through lack of oxygen, would wake up dull, headaches and feel very drained... we thank God for the Bowen Therapy.
