Ian Dixon is a registered Bowen instructor  with  nine years experience as a full time practitioner of Bowtech, the original Bowen technique.
A holistic health practitioner for many years, Ian originally trained and practiced as a remedial massage therapist, but since experiencing the consistent effectiveness of the Bowen Technique on his clients, he now uses Bowen Therapy exclusively.
Ian’s previous career as a Rural scientist has made him very results oriented , so Bowen’s  consistent ability to resolve a  wide range of health problems, and the gentle, relaxing way it does so, has made him an enthusiastic advocate and teacher of the technique. His aim is to help as many people as possible discover that you can permanently regain your natural state of pain-free good health without drugs with this incredibly gentle form of therapy.

At Canberra Bowenwork Ian conducts a busy Bowen practice, with appointments available between 9.00am and 6.00pm on weekdays. He also runs Bowen courses in conjunction with the Border College of Natural Therapies and the Bowen Therapy Academy of Austrailia. Courses and workshops are for new students learning the technique, as well as for qualified Bowen practitioners undergoing continuing education.
